EA Access – The Real Question – A $100 of coffee for $5 is only a great deal if you like coffee. And such is the real question when debating EA’s latest subscription offering. “That’s over $100 worth of games for $4.99 a month.” is one of the main points of EA’s announcement. They arrive at that number by adding up the cost of: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4. But the price doesn’t matter, what does matter is do you personally like the titles on offer.
The comparison to Playstation Plus is completely incorrect. Plus and Live are required and purchased for the online gaming. I doubt many people are purchasing these services for the free games, which have been lacking of late anyhow – especially PS4 titles. slot
EA Access is best compared to Netflix or HBO for now. Will there be enough AAA Game of Thrones content, or will we be stuck with re-runs of Entourage. The EA universe of games is large but will it be enough. I own a season pass for Battlefield and I won’t ever trade in that game. hari88
Maybe I’m old school but I want to own that game. That leaves Madden (which I mostly stopped playing years ago), FIFA, and Peggle for $5 a month. I think we will wait for now. judi online
Will this be the new model of gaming? People subscribing to the Publisher they like the most, not actually their favorite Titles? We liked more of the shows on HBO so we went with it, and said good bye to Dexter (Showtime).
